Orange & Lemons

About Orange & Lemons

With their enthrallingly atmospheric tunes, four-piece band Orange & Lemons were one of the pillars of OPM in the 2000s. The music scene buddies from provincial Bulacan quickly caught the eye of then-fledgling Terno Records and became the label’s flagship band. Their 2003 debut album Love in the Land of Rubber Shoes and Dirty Ice Cream may have made them indie pop darlings, but it was subsequent LPs that feted Orange & Lemons as alt-rock gods. Ask any Filipino millennial to hum the chorus of a hit like “Hanggang Kailan (Umuwi Ka Na Baby)” and you’ll know why their return in 2017, even after a 10-year break, was welcomed with open arms.
