Wholeheartedly

Wholeheartedly

Hyper-productive hip-hop maverick Emiway Bantai switches gears to glide comfortably into melodic rap territory on his fourth album in as many years. In fact, he’s never been as reflective or romantic on a record as he is on Wholeheartedly. On “Tu Tera Dekh”, for instance, even the braggadocio doesn’t come off as brash. It’s also his most collaborative effort yet, serving as a showcase for up-and-comers on his Bantai label and management roster like Flowbo, Young Galib, Hellac and Shez. All said, it adds “pensive philosopher” to Emiway’s status as fiery diss dispenser and friendly party starter.
