By calling this release The Last Good Album, Punjabi singer-songwriter and actor Sharry Mann has caused shock waves among fans who speculate that he’s quitting the music industry. If this is indeed his farewell, he’s going out with a bang as he works with more than two dozen lyricists and producers on an album that packs in a whopping 18 tracks. He gives everything he’s got on songs about love, life, friendship and family— powerfully rendered in styles ranging from electro-pop to bhangra hip-hop. We’re hoping this isn’t Mann’s swan song but, either way, it’s a milestone in a storied career.
