The daughter of renowned Australian bluesman Jim Dyson, Mia Dyson has followed in her father's footsteps with a worthy catalogue of impassioned blues rock. Debuting with Cold Water in 2003, Dyson won an ARIA Award for Best Blues and Roots Album for her sophomore effort, Parking Lots. A sojourn to Los Angeles and constant U.S. touring led to 2007's The Moment, which earned her another ARIA nod. Having played with the likes of Eric Clapton and Stevie Nicks, Dyson is keeping the family tradition of hearty, guitar-driven blues rock alive.
