Cloher’s relationship with Courtney Barnett provides the primary motivation for her self-titled second album. She balances vulnerable moments (“Dark Art", “Loose Magic”) with room-filling rockers (“Forgot Myself”, “Waiting in the Wings”), never losing grip of her lyrical gifts. “Analysis Paralysis” and “Strong Woman” attack the canvas with outspoken lines, finding inspiration in the idle moments when you’re alone with your thoughts. Barnett is here to support, adding primal guitar throughout.
