Country superstars Brooks & Dunn come off like heartland rock ’n’ rollers on their eighth album, Red Dirt Road. The riff of "Feels Good Don't It" wouldn't sound out of place on a Bryan Adams tune, while "Good Day to Be Me" rides a ’70s Southern-rock sway and the greasy, gritty "You Can't Take the Honky Tonk Out of the Girl" even channels the Stones. But tracks like the porch-stomping "My Baby's Everything I Love" make it clear that Brooks & Dunn are country boys at heart.
