Best known for his international hit “Sunset Lover,” French DJ, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Petit Biscuit creates dreamy electronic music infused with cello, guitar and his own vocals. • The artist born Mehdi Benjelloun began playing cello at age five before picking up piano and guitar. When he was 11, he started experimenting with making beats. • He formed an indie-pop duo called Mount Dreams with his friend LUUUL. The pair issued their only album, Début Album, in 2015. • At 16, he released 2016’s Petit Biscuit, his debut solo EP. The project included the 2015 single “Sunset Lover”, which went diamond in France, double platinum in Canada, and gold in the UK and Belgium. • His 2017 debut album, Presence, earned a nomination for Album Révélation at the Victoires de la Musique. • Petit Biscuit’s 2020 sophomore album, Parachute, includes “I Leave Again”, featuring Shallou, which made the Top 30 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
