Hussam “Flipperachi” Aseem has carved his space in the Khaleeji hip-hop scene with a flair for hypnotic rhythms and a diamond-sharp wit. The rapper joined the Outlaw Productions crew in 2008 and dropped his debut album five years later, utilising Arabic and English, elegant instrumentation and boom-bap beats. Whether he’s carrying an Afrobeat-styled groove solo on “Enty Jameela” or trading bars with partner in rhyme Daffy on “The Truth”, Flipperachi infuses every track with scorching energy and an elision of hope and realism.
