Offering chilled-out, bouncy rap jams that come straight from the streets, the hip-hop duo BlueBucksClan are at the forefront of the L.A. rap renaissance. • Group members DJ and Jeezy are natives of South L.A. They met as kids through football and have been lifelong friends. • BlueBucksClan debuted in 2019 with the projects Clan Way and No Rules. • Their 2020 EP No Virus includes the viral single “Todd Gurley”—named for a famed NFL running back who’s also a fan—and the timely “Coronavirus”. • The duo’s 2020 No Rules 2 mixtape features Bino Rideaux, Nezzy and RJMrLA. The project was recorded entirely during quarantine.
