In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first experience with music was hearing my grandparents sing. By the time I was 8 I had become obsessed with hip hop. I remember seeing Big Daddy Kane's Ain't No Half Steppin' on Video Music Box and I was hooked. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Madvillain, Madvillainy Nas, Illmatic Sade, Love Deluxe Illmatic was my adolescence packed into 45 minutes. Love Deluxe reminds me of hanging out with my mother, all good memories. Madvillainy made me want to be better, think outside of the box, and embrace independence as an artist. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Rain (feat. Tiff the Gift)” The Rain is one of my favorite songs because it is a fan favorite that we never expected to explode. It is also a favorite of mine because it features my wife Tiff the Gift. This album is our best seller and it was released on my wedding anniversary. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Filming Underdogs and seeing a documentary about me and my crew on Netflix back in 2019. It is now on Redbull.tv. Touring Europe and performing in front of thousands of people. Little kids younger than my own children asking for my autograph! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to play a Jazz Festival, and the Jazz Cafe in the UK. Maybe win an award.
