Coming after a string of solid 2024 singles, as well as collaborations with Grupo Frontera and Residente, this EP collects three recent favourites and pairs them with another four tracks. Leading with the bold Peso Pluma-infused hit “La Intención”, the Sonoran singer-songwriter swiftly shifts gears for “Kbron y Medio”, a cleverly constructed breakup song that addresses hedonistic tendencies and deep pain of love lost. “No Me 100to Bien” tugs more earnestly at the heartstrings, while the riveting Estevie duet “Un Besito Más” soundtracks bad decisions made for all the right reasons. Recalling his feature on Romeo Santos’ Fórmula, Vol. 3, the impassioned closer “La Bachatita” furthers his artistic interest in the thriving tropical sound.
