Since the mid-'10s, Dutch producer Sam Feldt has been releasing tracks that reveal his innate skill for turning the slightest of sounds into huge, arena-worthy earworms. A jaunty, effervescent flute line breezes through the crisp finger snaps of “Bloesem”, while a steel drum gurgles up like a refreshing oasis in the midst of “Summer On You”. Feldt transforms the sound of a hand squeaking on an acoustic guitar into a rhythmic element on his Akon collaboration “Yes”, and he boldly reconfigures the Robin S. classic “Show Me Love” with birdsong and a restrained melodic build.
