On his first project since 2023’s NAUJOUR and its standout cut “Favorite Song” propelled him to new heights, Toosii has everything he wants: success, stardom and creative freedom. The crux of the album is in the North Carolina crooner’s reckoning with achieving his dreams. After that, what’s next? Though introspective, Toosii leaves plenty of moments to celebrate his wins. On the Gunna-assisted “Champs Élysées”, Toosii cues up a trap beat and sings during the chorus: “Look how I'm reaching my goals.” Elsewhere, “Party Girl Anthem” is pure hedonistic bliss, as the rap-R&B hybrid tells of a musical love story: “She done fell in love with a n***a, now she backstage at all of my shows.” Tellingly, though, Toosii ends the album with the breakup ballad “Sticks and Stones”, which finds the rapper realising that all the success in the world won’t heal his aching heart. He raps: “You can't tell me that you love me/’Cause I know the truth and love really hurt so bad.”
