Thomas Rhett’s new album About a Woman, out now, draws heavily from his life with his wife, Lauren, and the pair’s four children. That’s certainly true of “Beautiful as You”, a poppy, midtempo tune about being with the kind of woman Rhett wants to “wash up on a island with”. Rhett tells Apple Music that in addition to being excited for this next musical chapter, he’s also looking forward to spending more time with his wife as their children begin school. “That's what this record really is, is a whole bunch of different seasons,” he says. “And the season we're in right now is that we're about to have three full days a week with our kids in school, and we are going to hang out.
