First, of course, there’s Kylie Minogue’s mind-blowing resurgence with “Padam Padam”. Then there’s Troye Sivan’s “Rush” and “Got Me Started”, which catapulted the Perth star to even greater heights. Genesis Owusu’s concept album STRUGGLER was as inviting as it was thought-provoking (we particularly loved the empowering single “Stay Blessed”). And the football anthem “DO IT AGAIN” by Brisbane’s Mallrat and Aotearoa New Zealand artist BENEE was a pump-up track we’re still feeling energised by.
