POORSTACY serves up a potent cocktail of rock, metal and hip-hop for the generation reared on SoundCloud rap. • The South Florida native ditched his former stage name, Lito Xantana, because it teetered on glorifying Xanax abuse. He now salutes legendary skater Stacy Peralta with POORSTACY. • He was heavily influenced by the metalcore scene in his home state. He credits his musician father and the video game series Guitar Hero with inspiring him to start playing music. • POORSTACY signed to Internet Money Records and made his presence known with the experimental 2019 EP i don’t care. • The artist embraced his rockstar persona for the syrupy 2020 album The Breakfast Club. Frequent collaborator Iann Dior and blink-182 drummer Travis Barker guest on the LP.
