Bixi finished 2019 season with a surplus, ridership record
The bike-rental service also logged the busiest day in its history with 44,200 trips on May 26, 2019.

Bixi Montreal ended its 2019 season with a surplus of close to $600,000 and a new record for ridership, the non-profit organization announced Wednesday.
In a presentation to the city’s executive committee, Bixi Montreal president Marie Elaine Farley said more than 320,000 people travelled more than 15 million kilometres using the service, for a total of 5.8 million trips in during Bixi’s seven months of operations last year, an increase of 8 per cent compared with 2018.
Bixi also logged the busiest day in its history with 44,200 trips on May 26, 2019.
