not a video repository
As educators, we have worked in districts who deploy static repositories of video content, hoping that we educators would sort through the massive library and somehow learn the content with no hands-on practice, practical application, or feedback. Additionally, leaders become frustrated with the limited visibility and subsequently inadequate measures of educator progress. MobileMind is not a static repository of videos that traditionally lacks follow-up or accountability. We empower leaders to engage educators with personalized, gamified content and track and support learners throughout the process.
MM is not one size fits all training
From the dashboard and learning experiences to communication and events, the educator experience in MobileMind is unlike any traditional or online PD platform you’ve seen. MobileMind was built to allow districts to personalize learning opportunities for teachers, and differentiation is encouraged throughout our learning hub to ensure information and PD reach the people who need it. In MobileMind you can differentiate it all - micro-courses, badges, learning paths, live event invitations, learner goals, and announcements. Gone are the days of one-size-fits-all training that fails to address the diverse needs of our teachers.
MM is not an LMS
Learning management systems in K-12 are built for students. They host courses in silos to protect students, and they maintain the traditional teacher-to-students structure reflective of a traditional classroom setting. With an LMS, enrollment in each course is required, and student feedback is provided by and only visible to the teacher(s) of the course. With MobileMind, there is no enrollment for individual courses. Teachers and staff can be set up on groups just once, and they will always see what leaders have interned for them to see. Additionally, leaders have full visibility into all progress across all PD engagement, whether teachers complete learning via our extension, our mobile app, or attend a live synchronous event!
