disappointed customer relation services

While I read other people’s negative review , I thought that it was just individual case. However, I found that I was charged additional 30 NZD in my credit card statement without explanation. Even I wrote to the customer services of ALL. ALL said that SO/Auckland will respond to me. However , SO/Auckland just simply ignores me after I wrote to them directly. Disappointed after staying so many Accor hotels. This hotel is not qualified as a 5 star hotel.

Wow, what a stunning hotel. Stayed here on a voucher from a local charity auction. I had no idea SO Auckland was such an arty hotel. Pool and sauna were also great and the roof top bar was something special. Rooms beautiful but a little dark to get ready Will be my new weekend away hotel

New renovated hotel not well maintained with disappointed service

I recently stayed at the So/Auckland Hotel for three days, and despite its newness and prime location, my experience was extremely disappointing. Upon checking in on Tuesday, I was dismayed to find that my room had not been cleaned properly. There was a large sticky area on the floor, evidently from a liquid spill that had not been addressed. I had the unpleasant experience of stepping into this sticky mess and had to call housekeeping to come and clean the floor. The issues didn't stop there. During my visit to the gym, I discovered that the water dispenser was not working. I had to request the staff to call maintenance to fix it but the day after the water ran out and the bottle was not replaced. Additionally, the lockers in the men's changing room were malfunctioning, making it impossible to store my belongings securely - I had to carry my bag with me throughout the exercise. To add to my frustration, I had registered for breakfast, but my registration was not documented. As a result, I was not recognized at the restaurant and was charged the full price for breakfast. This oversight was both inconvenient and disappointing. Overall, while the hotel has potential due to its new facilities and great location, the lack of attention to cleanliness, maintenance, and proper documentation significantly marred my stay. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly to improve the guest experience.
