We enjoyed our stay. Staff were helpful and nice. The bathroom in our room however was a bit outdated. Seems to haven’t been used in a while. One of the glasses still had a lipstick stain on it. The coffee maker in-room hasn’t been cleaned in a while. Lots of floating particles even after 3x of running with just water.

Disappointed

I have been an Accor member for many years. Being in the hospitality industry myself, I am aware that the front staff needs to deal with difficult and entitled guests all the time. I am never the type to create a fuss, but it is important to let the guests be aware of what happened to me to ensure that they don't become unsuspecting victim. Upon checking in, the bubbly front house lady mentioned to me that my room had been upgraded and that I was to be given a complimentary breakfast. I didn't think much of it until the next day as I went to the restaurant. The duty manager there couldn't locate my name on the list and got me to jot down my particulars on a note pad. Upon checking out, the front house lady explained that on top of my stay, I simply needed to pay for the breakfast in full. I mentioned to her that the front house lady from the night before said that it's a comp. To my amazement, she said that she knew who I was referring to. She added that the front house lady from the night before is new to her job and she has been making mistakes along the way. From my perspective, if the front house staff is new to her job, she needs to be supervised. There needs to be a duty of care to the guests. If this is a 3-star hotel, that's understandable if it doesn't have a robust management system but this is a 5-star hotel run by one of the largest hotel management groups in the world. The acknowledgement of morning staff that it was human error that provided incorrect information to a guest and ended up costing the guest a financial burden is simply not on. In summation, buyers beware. One would have thought that loyalty is to be reciprocated but not anymore. Guests are simply numbers now. Brand equity means nothing.

Location is good. Hotel is dated, dark and bathrooms are pokey.

Staff good but room lacked overhead lighting making room gloomy despite window. Room had no walk in shower but a potentially dangerous shower over a bathtub. Not good enough at the room price.
