A pleasant stay - my second - but once again external visitors are prioritised over staying/paying guests, particularly in when dining or wishing to use the bar. Of the 5nights stay we could only reserve a table between 7pm - 8.30pm on one occasion but offered a place to ‘stand’ at the bar, despite there being empty seats. This echoed our last stay. Upgrade to corner room felt expensive for the enhanced benefit. Open plan business lounge affected by R&B music playing in the lobby area, even in the morning(!). Staff not able to turn the music down. Pointless space if wanting to make a Teams call. Lobby bar randomly staffed. Shower leaked into room meaning floor towels stuck against sliding door gap. All a little frustrating for the expense.
