We stayed one night at this hotel - It’s a little far from some of the main attractions in Paris, but not a problem at all if you’re familiar with the Metro. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, the room had some basic amenities. The only issue we had was the air conditioning, which stopped working in the middle of the night. It was stifling hot, but the front desk provided us with a fan to put in front of the window.

Perfect for TGV Railway station, and public transport.

Too expensive, too noisy in the lobby ( ambient music too invasive). Rooms are well insulated, though, couldn’t hear the street noise, or barely. Paris hotels are very expensive, this one is no exception. Given the basic high prices, we had a good price, you could not call it inexpensive, but it was significantly less than 300€ the night.

Apart from the convenience, there is nothing the deserves to charge a nightly rate of €400+ for a privilege room which is smaller than a matchbox. I could not even take in my luggages inside the room properly. The sheets were stained with blood, the furniture old, no air conditioning not working and the electric fan provided stopped working in the middle of the night. The front desk could not even arrange a glass of baby milk and asked me to pick it up from the bar for a charge. I would never visit again and neither recommend it to anyone.

The quality of service you describe is not the one we reach and we sincerely apologize for that. The problem regarding the bed sheets has been notified to our cleaning team. It is, indeed, not normal and we are very sorry for this event. The noun working electric fan has been taking out of our inventories. The situation regarding the milk for your baby has been addressed with our Reception Manager. Overall and once again we apologize for this disappointed experience. This hotel is literally right next to the Gare de Lyon, so ideal location if you have an early train the next day. However, the standard of the rooms is only slightly better than an Ibis, and the price is a lot more. I have stayed at other Mercure hotels and in general they have a more upmarket feel than this one.

The hotel is well located. Kind and helpful staff. I had more of an issue with the room and what it lacked despite having reserved a superior room...it was small. Queen size bed, unfortunately two single beds put together. Not comfortable as I could feel the divide. No gown or slippers provided, nor toiletries. Maybe times have changed or are hard but given the price for the night, I expected more in terms of the room and what it offered. Thankfully it was clean and ready for my early check-in.
