In her daily work, she most enjoys seeing her patients smile and helping families who are struggling with health challenges.

Dr. Chen is a geriatrician in the division of Community Internal Medicine, Geriatrics and Palliative Care at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, with a dual appointment in Integrative Medicine and Health. She is the course director for geriatrics at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine, curriculum leader for the Geriatrics Medicine Fellowship, and course director for the Care of the Older Adult.
