How to contribute?

If not already a member of the translation team, go to the Overview screen for your language and join with the big green Join button.
Look at the team's Board page for information on terminology, review process, etc. if available.
Find untranslated strings with the language link on this page (in Drupal 8), or adjust the filters for other projects.
Submit suggestions for untranslated strings.

Exported versions of approved translations are regularly saved, so once your suggestions are approved, they will be available in the exported translation files shortly.

To get your group set up here, do the following: Look at the waiting list of languages if you find your language there, follow up on the issue found. Otherwise open an issue filling in your language name. State your team leader username on drupal.org (and make sure you log in on localize.drupal.org as well, so your local user copy is created). Do you have others to work with? Previous work you'll migrate? Tell us about it in the issue.
