Abstract
The primary objectives of the first phase include delineating the data migration scope, selecting a suitable migration tool, and formulating a comprehensive Data Migration Strategy. In accordance with the SAP Activate methodology, the project team has not yet been created at this phase, as shown in Figure 2-1. The preliminary examination of the system, encompassing its data, is conducted by a collaborative effort between the implementation partner's team and the client team.

- 4.
The attached example of the Strategy is presented for simplicity without the necessary bureaucratic attributes, such as table of contents, author, year, signatures, etc.
- 5.
It makes sense to set such goals if the implementation partner at the initial and subsequent phases of the project is the same.
