The Nebraska Public Interest Law Fund (NPILF) provides financial support to University of Nebraska College of Law students who secure unpaid public interest positions with a host organization that serves an unmet legal need.
NPILF makes it possible for students to pursue opportunities in Nebraska and around the country they might not otherwise be able to. Students help meet a variety of important needs in the areas of housing, health care, immigration, indigent defense, international human rights, and child welfare; serve victims of sexual and domestic violence and wrongful convictions; and advocate for voting rights, environmental protection, and criminal justice reform.
