Greg has been at KTVU for since 2019. During his time here, he’s covered several significant political events including the 2020 primaries and elections, including interviews with presidential and down-ballot candidates. He’s also sat down with Gov. Gavin Newsom several times to ask questions important to Californians. 

Beyond his political role, he’s covered breaking news including the 2020 Glass Fire.  He and a small team also produce and create KTVU’s monthly special "Voices for Change," which discusses issues of social justice and equity. Greg also anchors the 5 pm, 6 pm, 10 pm and 11 pm news on Friday nights.

Greg grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico and attended Pepperdine University in Los Angeles County. Before coming to KTVU, Greg worked at KABC in Los Angeles, KESQ in Palm Springs, and KTLA in Los Angeles. When he’s not working, Greg enjoys playing with his rescue dog, exercising, and mentoring the next generation of journalists.

 The Secret Service security planning, areas of responsibility and communication between Secret Service agents and local law enforcement officers are all under intense scrutiny, as investigators try to determine how a security lapse allowed Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania to climb onto the roof of a building outside the security perimeter of a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, and fire shots at former President Donald Trump from about 147 yards away.
