of Use, each located on the ALV Website.
This Privacy Policy explains the data collection and use practices relating to access and use of
the ALV Website. It is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy carefully, especially

TYPES OF INFORMATION COLLECTED
Personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) is any information that can be used
to identify a specific individual, such as your name, email address, home address, phone number
and credit card information. The ALV Website may collect Personal Information when you
interact with certain features of the ALV Website.
ALV collects information voluntarily submitted to it. Examples of such information include:
• identifying information, such as first and last names;
• security information, such as usernames, passwords, and password hints;
• contact information, such as names, mailing addresses, and phone numbers;
• Resource use behavior, such as pages visited, downloads, or searches requested; and
• browser information, such as browser version, IP address, and presence of various plug-
ins and tools.
“Non-Personal Information” is information that does not identify you specifically, including data
collected automatically through the operation of the ALV Website. ALV may collect website
usage data (such as which ALV Website pages you visit and in what sequence) through the use
of various technologies. For example, ALV collects IP addresses from individuals who visit the
ALV Website. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer
whenever you’re using the Internet. ALV does not link IP addresses to any Personal
Information, so although your session will be logged, you will remain anonymous to ALV and
the ALV Website.
During some visits, ALV may use software tools, such as JavaScript, to measure and collect
session information, including page response times, download errors, time spent on certain
pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page.
USE OF COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
Like many other websites, ALV uses “cookies” or other similar technologies to collect Non-
Personal Information. A cookie is a small data file that writes to your hard drive for record
keeping purposes when you visit the ALV Website. Cookies allow the ALV Website to measure
traffic activity on the ALV Website and to improve your user experience. Similarly, if you have
asked ALV to send you information about upcoming events and promotions, using cookies, ALV
may collect information about which ALV Website pages you have visited and in what order
(“Clickstream Data”) that may allow ALV to narrow or limit the materials provided to you based

“web beacons,” “clear GIFs” or similar means (collectively, “Pixel Tags”) embedded in the ALV
Website’s content. A Pixel Tag is an electronic image, often a single pixel (1x1), that is
ordinarily not visible to ALV Website visitors and may be associated with cookies on the
visitors’ hard drives. This information is Non-Personal Information.
USE OF YOUR DATA
ALV will use your Personal Information for the purposes for which it was provided. ALV may

other offerings that may be of interest to you.

Information to Personal Information obtained from you. If any Non-Personal Information is
linked with Personal Information, the linked Non-Personal Information will then be treated as

the ALV Website to customize the advertising and marketing messages you receive on the ALV
Website. This data (including Clickstream Data about your activities on the ALV Website) may

ALV reserves the right to share Personal Information with its affiliates. ALV, like many

ALV’s behalf such as hosting specific portions of the ALV Website, maintaining databases,

these functions, that third party will only be provided with the particular Personal Information it

public authorities; (5) permit ALV to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that ALV

If ALV sells all or part of this ALV Website or makes a sale or transfer of assets or are otherwise
involved in a merger or business transfer, ALV may, in its sole discretion, transfer, sell or assign

advertisers (collectively “Third Party Websites”). These Third Party Websites are not controlled
by ALV and, therefore, are not subject to this Privacy Policy. You should check the privacy
policies of the individual Third Party Websites to see how your personal information will be
utilized by the operators of those Third Party Websites before providing any personal
information. Please be aware that these Third Party Websites may collect personally identifiable
information about you that may also send “cookies.” ALV is not responsible for the content or
practices of any linked Third Party Websites. ALV suggests you that visit the privacy policy on
the Third Party Website for its privacy practices.
Links to other Third Party Websites may use the ALV Website logo or style as a result of a co-
branding agreement. These Third Party Websites may send their own cookies to you and may
collect data and make use of that data in ways that this ALV Website would not.
CHILD PRIVACY
If you are a parent or legal guardian of a child under the age of 18, and your child’s personal
information has been provided to ALV using the ALV Website, you may contact ALV using the
Contact Information provided above. You may request a copy of your child’s personal
information, or to change or delete any and all personal information about your child. Please be
sure to include your full contact information, such as your name, address, and email address, as
applicable, when contacting ALV to access, change, or delete your child’s personal information.
Also, please allow one week for email requests and three weeks for postal mail requests to be
fulfilled.
DATA SECURITY DISCLAIMER
ALV has instituted physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to store and maintain Personal
Information in a secure environment using, for example, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software.
Although ALV takes reasonable security precautions to secure the Personal Information that you
choose to provide against the loss, misuse, alteration or unauthorized access of such information,
no transmission of data over the Internet is guaranteed to be completely secure. It may be
possible for third parties not under the control of ALV to intercept or access transmissions or
private communications unlawfully. While ALV strives to protect your Personal Information, it
cannot ensure or warrant the security of any Personal Information you transmit to ALV. Any

EXCLUSIONS
This Privacy Policy shall not apply to any unsolicited information you provide to ALV on or
through this ALV Website. All such unsolicited information shall be deemed to be non-
confidential, and ALV shall be free to reproduce, use, disclose and distribute such unsolicited
information to others without limitation or attribution.
CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY
From time to time, ALV may revise this Privacy Policy to reflect industry initiatives, changes in
the law or technology, or changes in its practices regarding information collection and use. If
ALV makes revisions to the way it collects or use Personal Information, ALV may provide
notice of those changes by either: (1) announcing the change on the home page of the ALV
Website or (2) taking such other action as ALV deems appropriate under the circumstances,
including without limitation, posting the revised draft of this Privacy Policy on the ALV
Website. Any changes to this policy will become effective upon posting of the revised Privacy
Policy on the Internet, accessible through the ALV Website. By continuing to use the ALV
Website following such changes, you will be deemed to have agreed to such changes. If you do
