Will Golden Hour really help repel mosquitoes?

You bet! Golden Hour's performance has been tested against Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes through two rounds of double-blind testing by an independent lab. While independent results depend on your skin's unique biome, the lab confirmed an average of 3+ hours of protection time for most people. We have hundreds of rave reviews, too!

Use It When

Any time you'd rather not be snacked on by bugs while dining al fresco, sitting around the campfire, or enjoying an evening stroll.

Directions

Once outside, spray liberally over exposed skin or fitted clothing. Use adult supervision when applying to children. When applying to your face or to children, spray into hands first and pat to apply. Do not use on the hands of children. Reapply every 2 hours or as often as needed. We recommend patch testing on a small area of skin when using for the first time or when using in a new environment, as our product contains essential oils.

Recycling

This product is packaged with a mix of recyclable and non-recyclable materials.

Plastic Bottle

Made from Type 1 plastic, this bottle should be cleaned out and recycled curbside. Don't forget to remove the label!

Spray Pump

Spray misters are made from both plastic and metal, so they can't be recycled at home. Instead, send them to us or to Terracycle to be recycled.

I love it! I spray randomly about my legs, arms and clothing and I don’t get bitten. Most all natural products I’ve used, I’ve had to cover every inch of my body to prevent bites but this one works all over with just a few sprays

So grateful for this spray!!!

I didn’t think this would work as well as it does! I have not got bit at all while wearing it. The screens on our apartment aren’t great so I always get terribly bit up on my ankles. Many of my mosquito bites would get infected and turn into horribly painful boils- even if I didn’t scratch them! Now, I can spray on my ankles before bed and I’m absolutely fine. I hated wearing any deet products because I found the smell unbearable and my skin didn’t like the spray. This stuff has changed my life.

This smells REALLY strong at first spray! It is potent. It doesn’t smell badly but it’s just a strong smell so I spray myself outside. It fades very nicely and I don’t notice the smell after 5 minutes. I do occasional fieldwork in my job so I’m excited to see how this does in the outdoors. I haven’t gotten bit when out on the lawn at nighttime, usually I get destroyed, so I’m really hopeful!
