hi ! interesting entry, really liked it as a big fan of visual novel in general : maybe addict a background music or some simple visuals could be a suggestion but otherwise very nice writting โ™ฅ

My favorite entry ! The overall quality and art is just absolutely insane as a fellow pixel-artist I was super inspired by yours and would love to make something as clean one day, the concept is super well executed, died at 1k point in hard mode :) the art & animations are just top-notch, congrats !

:( sorry, once i start the game i get a black screen as well just like another person in the comment ! i would have loved the play the game otherwise โ™ก

good luck in the jam !

aha i would have loved to make cuter design for the cards :') the time was a bit too short, i was too panicked to finish on time ! but thank you so much for your very nice feedback, it means a lot !

solid entry, i really liked the visuals and the music : the concept is very efficient when it comes to the theme of this jam ! nice work

one of my favorite from this jam ! i absolutely loved the art style and overall vibe, it was such a relaxing experience, i love the concept of a personalized newspaper :) โ™ฅ the gameplay is simple and cute, best of luck with the jam !

hi ! the game is really unique especially control wise, i really like the overall atmosphere, and the art in general is really smooth when it comes to animations

the controls are original and maybe a bit confusing at first because of that, but overall very solid entry for a week-end jam ! <3

Ohh thats more clear !! Thank you for your feedback as always !!

hi !

first of all, i absolutely loved the pixel-art and just the general mood of the game : it reminded me of the older pokemon or zelda games โ™ก does gb studio stands for gameboy studio ? im so curious about the software you used!

didn't have any issues to find the controls personally

maybe an additional message depending on where you tossed the coin to tell you either a good, bad, or a normal fortune could have brought a different experience for each players ! but its just an idea/ suggestion, i enjoyed the game overall, nice one !

hello!!

thank you so much for such a positive feedback, it is truly heartwarming ! super glad you enjoyed the game, have a nice jam !

hi ! thank you so much for your feedback ๐Ÿ™ the second card showing up was creating so much bugs that i ended up leaving it like this for a more "challenging" playthrough :( still, im glad you could enjoy the game <3 !

Hey hey hey ThCattelay!

Thank you so much !! I really wanted to do a "comeback" and still try to make game :') It means a lot that you are commenting and following my little creations still !

What do you mean by "mutator" ? I'm curious ! And yes unfortunately, the second card problem is a bug I have yet to solve lol but tysm for the feedback i'll try to implement it differently if i do something like this again in the future !!

Can't wait to play the game you guys are cooking ! <3 <3

Thank youuu

If it isn't the professional pixel-artist Ardos himself ?! Thank you so much for your feedback โ™ก Compliment on the art coming from you always means a lot ! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

Yes, unfortunately I still haven't found a solution for the second card bug lol, but I get what you mean :( It definitely could have been better on that end!

YET you won on the second try ?! Respect ! That's the Quizz Planet challenger for you ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž

Thank you for playing and still commenting it means sooo so much !

Thank you so much,  it definitely took some brainstorming to integrate a coin to a memory game ๐Ÿ˜ญ so the positive feedbacks means a lot

Thank you to the blender profesionnal, without you the name of the game wouldnt be that crรฉative ๐Ÿ˜Žโœจ๐Ÿ™

Thank you for your feedback ๐ŸŒท๐Ÿ’Œ

I really wanted to try making a card game so i'm super glad to hear the coin makes it more original โœจ

Have a nice jam !

Thank you so much for your comment, I really appreciate it ๐Ÿ’Œโœจ Yes, the bug was initially not intended but without it the game would have been probably too easy ๐Ÿ˜ญ

i said "woah" out loud when the game un-zoomed with muffled music, really cool ! i might be a bit clumsy with the controls so i kept dying a lot ๐Ÿ˜† but the game was very enjoyable, the music is especially impressive as well, which software did you use to make it ?

good luck in the jam!

very  impressive entry ! it is such a polished card game, managed to reach wave 5 :) the art is stunning, really cool job !

this entry made me very happy honestly ๐Ÿ˜ญ instant smile hearing the music and seeing the art

hi !

i really enjoyed your entry and thought it was fitting the limitation very well ! just for polishing remarks : maybe adding a background music and reducing the sounds effects volume could have been nice ! It reminded me of Vampire Survivors a bit and it feels very addicting, would love to see an extended version of this <3

nice concept. maybe using the keys for the movements could be a bit more intuitive in my opinion  : i couldn't go past level 2 as it was making me spawn back at the entry as well. presentation looks very nice!

๐Ÿ˜ญ Woah, that is such a positive feedback : sincerely appreciate it thank you ! glad you enjoyed the music as well, i think you are the first one commenting on it <3

Enjoy the jam !!

Oh my god Ardos, sorry for the delay of my answer ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ Coming from you, the compliments on the art means a lot โœจ

For the gameplay, I honestly have no idea how to implement it but I agree that this approach would definitely look better ๐Ÿ˜ญ  Gotta look into it and test around how to add a jump buffer depending on the crouching time ! It would definitely be more clean, time to look around how to do that aha

Yeah for the sounds effects we put a jump one and flag one at the end of each level but maybe the sound wasn't high enough aha

maybe a final win screen with an epic congratulation sounds would have been nice too ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Thank you for the feedback, a cool game for an epic gamer like you ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž Can't wait to play your future games !!

Thank you so much, means a lot !

Glad you enjoyed the game & congratulations on finishing the last level ๐Ÿ† ! Really appreciate the kind feedback, enjoy the jam !

Thank you so much for your kind words ! I am really glad you like the art and concept ๐Ÿ˜ญ

You are absolutely right, the timing at the beginning of the levels were definitely a bit too fast : we pushed a new version this morning that should be better on that side. The levels don't restart automatically anymore and a jump buffer has been added.

Have a nice jam!

(1 edit)

thanks for your feedback. we pushed a new version this morning that should make levels more playable.

oh no sir tatassticot, sorry to hear about the troubles ! there is definitely a lot to be fixed in this very very early version of the game : your feedback always helps so much as always !

๐Ÿ˜Ž you were super early so we were not able to trouble-shoot everything yet, but super flattered to see that you are always AU RENDEZ-VOUS dรจs le matin as we say

Enjoy your week too ! ๐Ÿ‘‹ Definitely not giving up on gamedev anytime soon !

๐Ÿค thank you hardcore gamer aha, let us start our steam project soon !

๐Ÿ˜ญ Woah, was not expecting another comment on this game after all this time ! Thank you so much for your kind words & encouragements, the game definitely could use some improvements but im genuinely happy you enjoyed it!

all those kind comments really helps when it comes to motivation, always love to read them all ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ THANKS AGAIN !!

๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ—ฟ indeed paja

ahh sir you're way too kind as always, you never fail to be there to be the earliest tester as always ๐Ÿ˜ญ YOU'RE KILLING ME WITH ALL THIS SWEETNESS, thank you : i still think it could be better but those long messages always motivate me to aim for better

much luv

Thank you so much Ardos as always for your encouragements ๐Ÿ˜ญ especially the compliments on the presentation, coming from you it means a lot !

yes unfortunately the gameplay wasn't as clear as we imagined, definitely a lesson learnt from next time but im super glad you still enjoyed it despite the clumsy aspect of it !

the little comments are always motivating so much to start another jam month after month, definitely not giving up on those ! ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ thanks again !!

ayy thanks captain !

๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :)

cool game! i think it really deserves more attention, concept, presentation & soudtracks were all very solid

Interesting entry, the winning animation is lovely!  :)

I took a bit of time to understand the mechanics, maybe an additional tutorial with movements demonstrated could help the players. The jazzy music was fire honestly, I loved it!

I noticed this on level 3, I don't know if it's a bug, I'll just post it just in case!

Cool entry, good luck in the Jam!

rEELy creative use of the limitation ! I have a lot of respect for 8pico games, they don't look easy to make, but are always very fun to play :) The art is super cool as well and the music will definitely get stuck in my mind for the rest of the evening lol

Best of luck on the jam !
