Introducing Align, UCI’s new performance program for non-represented staff.
After 18 months of intense discussion with dozens of staff and leaders from across the UCI and UCI Health enterprise, we are pleased to introduce Align, UCI’s new performance program for non-represented staff. Align can be summarized in three words: purposeful, flexible, and simple.
Schools/units will see greater results from aligned efforts and have flexibility with how they leverage Align to achieve operational and strategic priorities. With the new program, leaders can foster an environment where development and engagement results in greater success for everyone.
Align requires only two check-ins per year, without any pre-set questions to answer. Check-ins are scheduled based on what works best for your business unit.
Align is a new, streamlined approach to optimizing performance at UCI. Based on significant input from staff and leaders across the organization, and recent shifts in the workplace environment, we have reimagined the performance practice.
Every day at UCI, each staff member and leader has the opportunity to help UCI reach new heights of excellence. Align, has been designed to empower each staff member to contribute to the success of their school/unit and UCI while streamlining elements to remain compliant with UC policy.
