After the Sacramento game, one of your players came to speak to the media and said, ‘Darko just said there are no moral victories.’ But you watch how the team’s playing, to be as competitive as you’re being in the circumstances, and they feel like moral victories. So how do you message that to your players? Darko Rajakovic: I want my players to be focused one game at a time, not to worry about the previous game, not to worry about the next game. I want my players to be worried (about and) take advantage of every situation and every possession that we have offensively and defensively. And (I want them) to compete at the highest possible level and with the idea and ambition to walk into every game with the confidence that we are going to compete and do everything we can to win. If we win, it’s awesome. If we don’t win, then it has to be a learning opportunity for us, and we have to continue grinding for more. I will never allow our guys to go into games and just not worry about winning because winning is so important. We’ve got to learn what it takes to compete in those 36 minutes, to extend to 40 minutes, 40 to become 45 until we start putting full 48-minute games (together).

Bobby Manning: Quin Snyder: “I’m not going to get into the specifics of (Trae Young’s injury), but obviously he’s out tonight and we gotta figure out how to, without him and a number of guys … how to play well and compete … he’s a big part of what we do and he’s the engine, so it’s an opportunity for other guys to collectively come together and try to generate offense as much as anything without him. A lot of times, ironically, that means getting stops and playing defense and trying to get out in the open floor.”
Lauren L. Williams: A spot of good news. Per league source, Bogdan Bogdanovic (right hamstring tendinopathy) and Kobe Bufkin (right shoulder subluxation) are trending in a positive direction.
Beal isn’t on Phoenix’s injury report for Tuesday’s matchup versus the Utah Jazz (2-7) to begin a four-game road trip after Kings forward DeMar DeRozan rolled into his left knee after making a basket with 3:44 left in overtime. “Woke up feeling a lot better than expected,” Beal said after Tuesday’s morning shootaround. “That was a blessing. Nothing structurally wrong. Probably just a bad contusion.”
Jonathan Feigen: Rockets center Steven Adams and guard Fred VanVleet are questionable to play against the Clippers tomorrow. Center Jock Landale is probable. VanVleet and Landale were out last night.
Chris Fedor: #Cavs Jarrett Allen, who wasn’t moving great during the game against Chicago, is QUESTIONABLE for tomorrow’s game here in Philly. He has a lower left leg strain. Sam Merrill is also QUESTIONABLE because of that continued ankle soreness.
After declining to discuss the catfishing scheme for years, Andersen decided to tell his story in the early 2020s and tasked his attorney with finding a way that allowed Andersen to maintain editorial control and get paid. Instead, unbeknownst to him, Bryant signed a deal with two production companies that achieved neither goal, Andersen said. Despite being interviewed for an unnamed Netflix project, Andersen claims that he has not been compensated.

Bobby Manning: Mazzulla: “I like the idea of it, you see it around the world … the best way to make it more impactful is to make it outside the 82 game schedule … it’s its own league entirely.” “It’s an opportunity for us to win something … go after something.”
Tim Bontemps: Nick Nurse on the second iteration of Philadelphia’s NBA Cup court (which is a lot easier to look at than last year’s red version): “I like the blue court a lot more, but boy, that’s not saying a whole lot.”
