Follow the steps below to unlock your device.
Bring your favorite phone
To join our network, your phone has to be unlocked from your current carrier. This usually takes a few hours, but sometimes a few days—so plan ahead. Follow these steps to get your phone unlocked. Once that's done, we'll handle the rest.
- Pay off your phone in your current carrier's app or website.
- Confirm your phone is unlocked. Check your carrier's policies online. Some carriers, like Verizon, lock phones for 60 days after purchase.
- If your phone is paid off but not locked, submit an unlock request.
