The first implementation of the accelerometer was successful in transmitting the signal to the receiver. Furthermore, the receiver was able to display the fact that the transmitter was shaking.

Water detection system, mentioned in prototype iteration 3, was also implemented today since the accelerator module was already completed. Next progress report on the prototype will focus on refinement and slight improvements on the prototype, rather than major feature implementations.

To summarise:

  • Integration of accelerometer and water sensor into transmitter module
  • Coding system state logic to respond to different stimulus
  • Testing the entire system
  • De-acceleration threshold warning system
  • Water immersion detection system
