[BUG] Onedrive failed to sync #2254

Sequence of actions:

  1. Enable the sync in settings
  2. Choose Onedrive as the server
  3. Enter the credentials
  4. Fail to initialize

Problem:

Failing image in Chinese that says "fail to initialize" when choosing Onedrive as the service provider

The sync stopped on Nov 18. Does Microsoft changed some policy after this date?

Stylus is also encountering this error so I suspect this problem is caused by Microsoft.

I do not have 2FA enabled. Changing Microsoft account does not help.

Expected result:

Sync as usual

Environment:

  • OS: Arch Linux & Windows 10
  • Browser: Firefox 128 ESR
  • Violentmonkey Version: 2.29.0

我也遇到了相同的问题，在不同的网络，不同的设备和平台上都有此问题，应该可以排除是网络和浏览器的问题

The app seems to be deleted by OneDrive. I don't know why this happened. We may need to create a new one.
