The module encodes timestamps and initially targeted IPv6 address within the ICMP payload. When receiving ECHO replies, the original target IP is extracted from the payload and can be accessed by the output-module using the initial-ip field. Unlike the echo-scan/time module, no validation between target IP addr. and replying IP addr. is performed.
