Describe the bug
I am using TabWrangler in Firefox and Chrome on Ubuntu (currently 20.04, but this was happening even on 18.04 before). I have multiple browser windows open (I have three screens setup, each browser window is used for a different purpose) and I have observed the behavior on both different browsers the same: after opening multiple tabs in one window (while already over the limit) and coming back tomorrow, I find many of those very recent being closed, while I would expect those that are oldest to be wrangled instead. It happens rather frequently and bothers me finally enough for opening an issue.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior (while I haven't tested this exact steps, from my observation this is what happens):

  1. Have at least 2 or three browser windows opened, TabWrangler installed and activated, set to wrangle after having 30 tabs opened, wrangle after 60 minutes of inactivity
  2. Make sure to have 29~30 tabs opened that are older than 60 minutes (better if in days or months 🙂 ) (in each browser)
  3. Within a short time, open another 3~5 tabs (in each browser)
  4. After the wrangling is done, notice the newest opened tabs being wrangled

Expected behavior
Some of those oldest tabs should be wrangled instead.

Version (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Ubuntu 20.04
  • Browsers: Chrome (all recent versions), Firefox (all recent versions)
