Sure, that would have helped me.

I guess not many people are doing 32 bit builds (and if they are, they may be clever enough to realize that gcc_64 might be the wrong location). I'm not sure if it's worth clarifying or leaving alone as 32 bit environments are increasingly rare.

Eh, I think it can stay. 32-bit isn't completely dead. I retired a 32-bit machine only a few months ago.
