[Comment migrated from SourceForge | Submitted by 'jleben'] That's because TreeVew:-addChild returns a QTreeViewItem and not a QView subclass, and HLayout does not know what to do with the item. Add the items in a separate code line. |

Example:
( // does not work, with or without fixedSize
Window("TreeView").front.layout = HLayout (
TreeView() //.fixedSize_(Size(100,100))
.columns_(["X","Y"])
.addItem(["Test","1"])
.addChild(["Hello","2"])
)
)
( // works here
TreeView(Window("TreeView",Rect(0,0,300,300)).front,Rect(0,0,300,300))
.columns_(["X","Y"])
.addItem(["Test","1"])
.addChild(["Hello","2"])
)
And in some situations one has to set minSize or fixedSize.
