I've noticed there is a delay after entering a directory if you search with f. I assume this is intended and it's actually pretty smart; however, the delay also exists if you find the file with f and you press enter . I guess the purpose of the delay is to be able to not mistakenly press the wrong keys after entering a directory, but I don't think it makes that much sense if you enter the directory after finding the file/direcotry with f and pressing enter, since you already know that you are immediately going to switch directories. I believe it would be a good idea to only keep the delay if we enter the directory automatically instead of manually (enter).
