Bug description

been using the taiko lazer editor recently and the main thing that's been feeling bad is not being able to see the state (color/size) of the note you're about to place. it has me frequently alternate between looking at the timeline and playfield which doesn't feel good.

it's even worse for big notes because you can only see them after you've placed them.

can make said selection use a semi-transparent object so people don't mistake it for existing selected objects.

Also applicable to other rulesets, including being able to see new combo status etc.

Placement blueprints probably need to handle more like stable.
