Motivation

Since LocalStack 2.2.0 the DNS server no longer manipulates the host environment, and moreover checks if it can bind port 53 to the host. If it cannot, it still runs the DNS server and does not block LocalStack starting.

Changes

  • Bump version in the readme
  • Use DNS_ADDRESS=127.0.0.1 rather than 0
