This pull requests shows how Elasticsearch and Kibana can be placed in separate pods and use to log the behaviour of a synthetic logging program.

LGTM, might be nice in a few places to have comments explaining things (e.g. the long command line in one of the pod .yaml files)

OK, I will try to (a bit later) add a comment which explains what the
command line argument to "bash -c".

Added explanation for logging shell commands and tweaked Makefile to add a PHONY line.
Ready to merge?
