Changelog:

  • Disallow Hellfire
  • Enforce a play area that prevents higher resolutions from having an unfair advantage
  • Lock game speed to 20 TPS
    Remove the MP Power Level cap, and instead add a decrease in experience gains from monsters that are too high of a level above the player’s level.
  • 4th Difficulty introduced: Inferno
  • The escape menu is no longer accessible while dead. Instead, a death screen similar to Diablo 2’s implementation will appear, prompting the player to press ESC to restart in town, avoiding quitting accidentally to avoid item loss.
  • Inventory sorting
  • New lighting system
  • Better vision
  • Vendor price caps will be removed entirely, in order to allow high end items to be obtained by vendors, utilizing the stash to overcome inventory space limitations. The nerf to gold gains will act as the primary countermeasure to vendors being OP, and these high end items will be incredibly useful for Inferno difficulty, especially Godly FPM. In addition, level caps have been removed.
  • Mana shield adjusted
    • Max spell level effect changed from slvl 7 to slvl 20. slvl20 grants 33% damage reduction, slvl 18 grants 20% damage reduction, and slvl 15 grants 12.5% damage reduction. Sorcerers will heavily prioritize increasing spell level.
  • Max Resistance will be 80%, which will allow for full utilization of 2x Obsidian items, and make single resistance items or Emerald items more useful.
  • All items sell at 1/16 of their value at vendors, rather than ¼ of their value, to make Gold a more valuable resource
  • Monsters gold drop amounts adjusted to prevent unnecessary amounts of gold from dropping later into gameplay to avoid inflation
