The reason this is in place is to prevent ctrl+c from copying password when you really mean to copy some line of text. |

I tried this, the only text that I am unable to copy (because the password gets copied as you said) is the Notes field on the Entry Preview panel. All the other fields correctly "override" the copy action. If you think this is the correct approach to solve the original issue, I will take another look at the Notes field problem and try to fix it. |

I fiddled around with this for a while, but didn't find any way around it. My guess it that the Do you have any further ideas I can follow up on? Disclaimer: I'm very inexperienced with QT, so I might be missing obvious things. |

* Support copy shortcut when in QTextEdit to prevent inadvertently copying password when interacting with those elements.

Sorry for the big delay on this, I figured out an elegant way to overcome the failure of Qt to trap the copy sequence when interacting with a QTextEdit. |
