The Inokufu Search - Repository Plugin for the Moodle™ platform is part of the set of plugins required to integrate Inokufu Search into your Moodle™ platform. This set also includes:
- Inokufu Search - Local Services plugin pour la plateforme Moodle™,
- Inokufu Search - Atto plugin for the Moodle™ platform,
- Inokufu Search - TinyMCE plugin for the Moodle™ platform.
This plugin enables users to access Inokufu Search technology, and add Learning Objects to courses of your Moodle™ platform. This documentation will guide you through the installation and usage of the plugin.
Note: This Moodle Plugin is only useful when combined with our Inokufu Search - Moodle Local Services Plugin
. Please be sure to have it installed and configured before installing this plugin.

- Download the plugin zip file from this GitHub repository.
- Log in to your Moodle site as an administrator.
- Navigate to
Site administration > Plugins > Install plugins
. - Upload the zip file you downloaded from this repository and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Complete and confirm the forms to finish the plugin installation.
- Establish an SSH connection to your Moodle instance.
- Clone the source files from this GitHub repository directly into your Moodle source files.
- Rename the cloned folder to
inokufu
. - Move the
inokufu
folder into therepository
directory of your Moodle installation. Ensure that the plugin folder is namedinokufu
. - Log in to your Moodle site as an administrator.
- Navigate to
Site administration > Notifications
to finalize the plugin installation.
- After successful installation, navigate to
Site administration > Plugins > Repositories > Manage repositories
to configure the plugin settings. - Activate the
Inokufu Search
repository plugin by switching it toEnabled and visible
. - Navigate to the plugin settings, by clicking on
Settings
(next toInokufu Search
andEnabled and visible
), or by navigating toSite administration > Plugins > Repositories > Inokufu Search
. - Enter the Plugin Name (Optional).
- Save changes, and start using the repository plugin.
If you encounter any issues with the plugin, please check the following:
- Ensure your Moodle site meets the minimum requirements for the plugin.
- Verify that your API Key is correctly filled in, and valid.
- Check the Moodle log (
Site administration > Reports > Logs
