It seems to happen when I switch to another workspace then return to the one with Geany in it.
I can still type but the cursor is invisible.
It occurs inconsistently, and I don't know what determines if it's going to happen.
Also I suspend to RAM a lot (using command "systemctl suspend") -- i think it may be related to suspending.

I can make it visible by opening the "Find" window.
If anyone knows of other ways to make it visible please comment.
