Few minor comments. Thank you for not using the term preferred

For example, as Jeremy's gender is male, we can say **he** loves Exercism.
If Jeremy was female, we could say **she** loves Exercism.

Some people don't like others to know their gender.

I think we don't need to attribute value to the why. I think you're trying to not say stuff like "identify as" or "express as" because of the cultural complexity/understanding?

I'm not sure what you mean by this bit.

I also just personally think if someone is male, they're male. I don't feel the need to say "this person identifies as male", as I feel that tends to reduce the truth of the statement and make it less than saying "this person is male".

(we discussed this on slack. all good)

If Jeremy was female, we could say **she** loves Exercism.

Some people don't like others to know their gender.
This is often the case when someone feels that they might be descriminate against based on their gender, or they value their privacy to the extent where they don't want others to know much about them.

descriminate -> discriminate

If Jeremy was female, we could say **she** loves Exercism.

I would consider prefixing it with something like: Among many reasons, it can be that "someone feels they might be ..."

In these situations people sometimes specify **they** as their gender (e.g. "they love Exercism"), or a gender-netural pronoun, such as **ze** (e.g. "ze loves Exercism").

netural -> neutral

Singular they is a gender neutral pronoun, so maybe "or a different gender-neutral pronoun"

Are neopronouns always considered gender-neutral?

According to https://lgbta.wikia.org/wiki/Neopronouns the intention is yes.
