What problem would this feature solve?
It would be infinitely useful to be able to have a cursor shared with my
BeOS/Haiku-OS ("http://haiku-os.org":http://haiku-os.org ) systems

What's your great idea?
Add support for BeOS as a Synergy client(first priority)/server(second
priority).

Are you already able to achieve the same results,
but in a less convenient way?
Nope, as BeOS/Haiku don't use X11 it would be a challange.

How useful would the feature be to others?
This feature would be VERY useful for users and developers, especially as
Haiku-OS is getting VERY close to being a non-Alpha product.

This would be very helpful to me. I help run a low power radio station running on the Haiku OS. I use Synergy so frequently that every time I have my Haiku test system up I try to move my main system's mouse over to the Haiku system to control it. I miss not being able to use Synergy with that system.

Ah, actually it seems like issue https://github.com/symless/synergy/issues/4329 is the one that should stay open.
