On Firefox on OS X I do not get a pointer (clicky pointy hand) when hovering links in the menu. Instead I get the text selection tool.

I would argue all a tags should be using the css cursor: pointer although this seems like a design decision made at some point since only a:link tags (or tags with href attribute?) have the pointer.
